Project Type: Technology
Research the following types of energy resources; windmills, wave and water mills, solar panels, dams, geothermal stations, and composting gas for energy.

Explain how each type of energy resource works, saves energy resources, money, and the environment in a report that is six pages; one page per energy resource.

Groups of students will be assigned one of the following types of energy resources to make a model of.

  • Windmill
  • Wave and watermill
  • Solar panels
  • Dam
  • Geothermal station
These groups of students will then explain how their model works, saves energy resources, money, and the environment in a presentation to the class.

Time:
2 weeks to research; 1 day to present models
