Introduction
Students have read “The Roots -spec- and –plic-” and completed three exercises to learn the following new vocabulary words: auspices, auspicious, explicate, implicate, introspective, perspicuity, plait, pliant, specious, and speculate. In this lesson, they will test and solidify their comprehension with a fun activity.

Lesson Description
Students will complete a crossword, using all of the above vocabulary.
