Harvest is a photo essay. A photo essay tells a story in pictures, and it is sometimes accompanied with text. For this exercise, pick one of the photographs from this photo essay. Before you write, study the image for a minute or two. When you are finished studying your image, write a paragraph about what you see in the photograph. How would you describe the expression of the person in the photograph? What sort of work are they doing? What colors are in the photograph? Is there a detail that caught your eye? What was it, and why do you think it caught your attention?
