The Oxcart

The three samurai warriors fall ill when they travel to Murasakino in an oxcart. The oxcart is bumpy and uncomfortable. Today, we use trains, planes, cars, buses, and bicycles to travel. Do any of these ways of traveling ever compare to the rocky journey that the samurai make in their cart? In what ways are they similar and in what ways different? Write a short paragraph comparing and contrasting a ride on a car, bus, or plane with one in an oxcart.
