The Leap

In “The Leap,” the narrator describes two events in which her mother showed strength and bravery. With a partner, research real-life acts of bravery, using reliable sources on the Internet or in the library. Write a short movie pitch, or proposal, based on one of these events. Your pitch should explain why this act of bravery would make a great movie. Be sure to include a title for your movie, a list of the main characters, and a summary of the events.
