In Memoriam

Try to connect to the characters in “In Memoriam” on a personal level. Ask yourself, if certain interactions remind you of relationships in your own life. Put yourself in a character’s shoes and imagine what you would do in that character’s situation. Consider these questions: Is there some aspect of Mrs. Kinnian and Aaron’s relationship that reminds you of your relationship with one of your parents or another adult? If so, how is it similar? Also, how is it different? Write a short journal entry explaining your answer.
