Comparing Literature: Through the Tunnel, Vision Quest, and Dear Pie

In each of these literary works, a young adult learns a life lesson that will help him or her transition to adulthood. Think of a life lesson you have learned, perhaps through an experience like moving to a new city, starting high school, or losing a loved one. Then write a letter to someone who will soon go through the same transition, sharing what you learned. Explain how you learned the lesson and why you think it is important.
