Lullaby

At the end of “Lullaby,” Ayah sings a lullaby that was passed on to her by her mother and grandmother. The lyrics of this lullaby are comforting and simple enough for a young child to understand. Spend a few minutes thinking about lullabies with which you are familiar. Then write an original lullaby that you might sing to a young child. As you write, think about themes that might soothe a child. Use simple language that children can understand.
