Reread the biographical material about Carl Sandburg in your textbook. Note which of Lincoln’s traits Sandburg highlights in his address. What do you think Sandburg admired about Lincoln? Then use the Internet or a library book to find several of Sandburg’s poems and print or copy them out. Write a short response to one of the poems.
