1.

Macbeth, Act II

Dramatists use language and imagery to create mood. Review the language and imagery in lines 1–59 of Scene 3, which set the mood for the discovery of Duncan’s body. Then write a short scene between two characters who make an eerie or shocking discovery. In your scene, set the mood through your choice of appropriate language and imagery.
