B. Wordsworth

“B. Wordsworth” is a story about a man who tells stories about writing poetry and about his past to a young boy who finds the man’s life intriguing. Think about what type of person becomes a poet. What skills would such a person need to have? What would his or her personality be like? Write down a list of skills and personality traits that a poet is likely to have, and then write an imaginary interview between a poet and a reporter who wants to know why the poet chose this career and what it takes to be a real poet.
