Web Quest Lesson PlanIntroduction In this unit, students have explored the topic of the American Dream. In this lesson, they will read about different elements that make up the country and its people. Next they will read about an important landmark of American history, Ellis Island. Finally, students will write song lyrics about the American Dream and what it means to be American. Lesson Description Students will read selected passages from America's Story <www.americasstory.com/cgi-bin/page.cgi> and Ellis Island <www.historychannel.com/ellisisland/index2.html>.
