Pecos Bill

A tall tale is an exaggerated story about a larger-than-life hero. This hero has abilities no human being could actually possess. For this activity, create your own tall tale. First, come up with a larger-than-life hero and give him or her a name. Next, write the story, including wild adventures the hero experiences. When you are done, read the tall tale out loud to the entire class.
