“The End of the World” is a myth. A myth is a traditional story that is very old. It is often passed on by word of mouth. For this activity, create your own myth about the end of the world. It can have as many or as few characters as you would like, and it can take place anywhere. It should, however, explain how the end of the world might come about, like the myth you just read. When you are finished, read your myth out loud to your class.
