The stories in “The Secret Schools” took place at a concentration camp during World War II. Children in the concentration camp had very difficult lives, and many of them died in the experience. Children in other parts of Europe also led difficult lives, although they were not in concentration camps. Click on the link below to learn about what life was like in Scotland during World War II.
