The Golden Touch

King Midas changes over the course of the story. When a character changes over the course of a story, it is often because of an external or an internal conflict. For this exercise, write two paragraphs about “The Golden Touch.” In the first paragraph, describe the change that occurs in King Midas during the story. In the second paragraph, explain whether you think he changes because of an external or an internal conflict, and state what this conflict is.
