Anne feels misunderstood many times in Act 1. For example, she feels Mr. Dussel thinks she does everything wrong and that her parents favor Margot. Think of a time when you felt misunderstood by someone older then you, such as an older sibling. Why did you feel misunderstood? How did this person respond to your feelings?
