Activity Lesson Plans

Introduction
Students have read an introduction to theatre and have been exposed to a script. Before they complete the choose-one activity, you may wish to assign the roles in the script to student volunteers and to have them read aloud the dialogue while the rest of the class becomes the audience. Discuss the player-audience relationship from the viewpoints of the actors and the audience members.

Lesson Description
Students are to complete a choose-one activity to reinforce the terms introduced in the chapter. For each statement, two terms are provided. Students are to choose the one that best completes the sentence.
