Activity Lesson Plans

Introduction

Students have read about the importance of self-confidence and the group process for the creation of an effective performance. Before the students turn to the fill-in-the-blank activity, you may wish to ask them to create a list of the top ten qualities they like about themselves. Have students post their lists where they will see them every day.

Lesson Description

Students will complete a fill-in-the-blank activity to reinforce the vocabulary words and terms introduced in the chapter. Students are to choose from a word bank to fill in the missing information in a paragraph.

Instructional Objectives

  1. Students will make use of context clues in a paragraph containing missing information.
  2. Students will identify vocabulary words and terms to correctly complete a paragraph.
