Introduction
Students have learned how to use the writing process. In this lesson, they will test their knowledge of the prewriting and revising phases of writing as they apply their new skills toward writing a research paper.

Lesson Description
Students will identify key terms that relate to research paper writing as steps that occur either during the prewriting phase or during the revising phase of the writing process.

Instructional Objectives

1. Students will be able to recall previously studied steps in the writing process and recognize how these steps can be applied toward writing a research paper.
