Introduction
Students have read about sentence combining. In this lesson, they will combine two or more sentences into one simple or compound sentence using an adverb clause, an adjective clause, or a noun clause.

Lesson Description
Students will combine ten sentence pairs using an adverb clause, an adjective clause, or a noun clause.

Instructional Objectives

  1. Students will be able to combine sentences using adverb, adjective, or noun clauses.
  2. Students will be able to write clearly and concisely.
