Introduction
Smoking is bad for your health, but what many teens do not realize is that
breathing the smoke that others exhale can also damage your body. This
smoke is known as “second-hand smoke,” and you will learn more

Additional Resources for Teachers
Below are some additional resources on second-hand
smoke and what is being done about it. You
might want to have teens share their own experience
with second-hand smoke and how they feel about
it. Have them brainstorm ways they can
work to make their communities smoke free in
public places.
