Section 20.2 Summary
All businesses produce two primary financial statements. These are the income statement, which reports revenue, expenses, and net income, and the balance sheet, which gives the financial position of the business on a specific date. Another statement that provides important information is the statement of cash flows. For businesses to create accurate statements, several accounting functions take place weekly and monthly.
