Making Good Choices
Think about Ryan's choices. Think about Ryan's attitude. What would be a better attitude for Ryan? Perhaps Ryan needs to understand that his co-workers have to make up for his not being at work. Think about the situation from Ryan's boss' point of view. He needs employees that he can count on to be at work when they are scheduled to be working. Ryan needs to understand that he did not do the right thing at the cell phone company and that it is important to be honest in job interviews. The best policy for Ryan is to admit that he made a mistake and explain that he knows he was wrong. Ryan could also offer assurance to the interviewer that he will not make the same mistake again.
