Introduction
Students have learned about speaking at special occasions and the various forms of courtesy, ceremonial, and contest speeches. In this lesson they will review special occasion speeches as well as strategies to make them more effective.

Lesson Description
Students will read sentences relating to special occasion speeches and choose one of two words or phrases that best completes each sentence.

Instructional Objective
Students will reinforce their knowledge of special occasion speeches and the appropriate types of speeches for various occasions.
