Activity Lesson Plans

Introduction
Students have learned vocabulary words that begin with the prefixes be- and mal-. Before students begin the activity, you might have them brainstorm for additional words that begin with be- and discuss which meaning the prefix adds to each word. "completely" or "provide."

Lesson Description
Students will test their vocabulary knowledge by completing a Choose One activity. To begin the activity, students click on a sentence. Then they click on a word to choose it. When they are finished, they can check their work.

Instructional Objectives

  1. Students will choose the word in parentheses that correctly completes each sentence.
  2. Students will recall the meanings of words to help them choose the correct answers.
