Activity Lesson Plans

Introduction
Students have learned vocabulary words that concern food and what it contains. Before students begin the activity, you might have them visit http://www.fda.gov, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Web site, to explore products regulated by the FDA.

Lesson Description
Students will test their vocabulary knowledge by completing a Fill-in-the-Blank activity. To complete this activity, students drag words from the box to fill each blank. When they are finished, they can check their work.

Instructional Objectives

1. Students will identify the vocabulary words that fill in the blanks.
2. Students will practice using the words in a cohesive paragraph.
