Activity Lesson Plans

Introduction
Students have learned vocabulary words in context by reading about the First Amendment to the Constitution. Before students begin the activity, you might direct them to http://www.firstamendmentcenter.org.

Lesson Description
Students will identify vocabulary words from the lesson by completing a Crossword Puzzle activity. To get directions, they can click on the Instructions button. If they need a clue, they can click on the Word List button. After finishing the puzzle, they can check their work.

Instructional Objectives

  1. Students will identify vocabulary words by using the puzzle clues.
  2. Students will correctly spell vocabulary words.
