Students have learned vocabulary words in context by reading about the First
Amendment to the Constitution. Before students begin the activity, you might
direct them to http://www.firstamendmentcenter.org. Lesson Description
Students will identify vocabulary words from the lesson by completing a Crossword
Puzzle activity. To get directions, they can click on the Instructions
button. If they need a clue, they can click on the Word List button.
After finishing the puzzle, they can check their work. Instructional Objectives
- Students will identify vocabulary words by using the puzzle clues.
- Students will correctly spell vocabulary words.
