Activity Lesson Plans

Introduction
Students have learned vocabulary words in context by reading about the legend of King Arthur. Before students begin the activity, you might have them go to http://www.kingarthursknights.com and click on both Historical Arthur and Legendary Arthur to learn more about Arthurian legend.

Lesson Description
Students will identify vocabulary words from the lesson by completing a Crossword Puzzle activity. To get directions, they can click on the Instructions button. If they need a clue, they can click on the Word List button. After finishing the puzzle, they can check their work.

Instructional Objectives

  1. Students will identify vocabulary words from the antonyms and synonyms presented as puzzle clues.
  2. Students will correctly spell vocabulary words.
