Activity Lesson Plans

Introduction
Students have learned vocabulary words that begin with the prefix de-. Before students begin the activity, you might have them brainstorm for other words that begin with this prefix.

Lesson Description
Students will identify vocabulary words from the lesson by completing a Crossword Puzzle activity. To get directions, they can click on the Instructions button. If they need a clue, they can click on the Word List button. After finishing the puzzle, they can check their work.

Instructional Objectives

  1. Students will identify vocabulary words by using the puzzle clues.
  2. Students will correctly spell vocabulary words.
