Activity Lesson Plans

Introduction
Students have learned vocabulary words in context by reading about the Giganotosaurus. Before students begin the activity, you might have them visit http://www.amnh.org, the American Museum of Natural History’s Web site, to search for other information about paleontology, fossils, or dinosaurs.

Lesson Description
Students will test their vocabulary knowledge by completing a Fill-in-the-Blank activity.

Instructional Objectives

1. Students will identify the vocabulary words that fill in the blanks.
2. Students will practice using the words in a cohesive paragraph.
