Introduction
Students have learned four roots that come from the Latin words cedereand mittere. Before students begin the activity, you might have them choose one of these roots and brainstorm for other words that contain it.

Lesson Description
Students will test their vocabulary knowledge by completing a Fill-in-the-Blank activity.
