Introduction
Students have learned vocabulary words relating to anger and violence. Before students begin the activity, you might have them match the words that have similar meanings (such as mutilate and maim), look closely at them, and describe how they differ.

Lesson Description
Students will test their vocabulary knowledge by completing a Choose One activity.

  1. Students will choose the word in parentheses that correctly completes each sentence.
  2. Students will recall the meanings of words to choose the correct answers.
