Introduction
Students have been introduced to words related to -nomen-, -nomin-, and -onym-, all of which mean “name.”

Lesson Description
Students will review lesson words by completing a crossword puzzle. To get directions, they can press the Instructions button in the lower left corner. If they need a hint, they can press the Word List button. After finishing the puzzle, they can check to see how they did.

Instructional Objectives

  1. Students will distinguish between words related to-nomen-, -nomin-, and -onym-.
  2. Students will review lesson words by matching them with their definitions.

nomenclature: system of naming
nominal: existing in name only
pseudonym: false name, such as a pen name
