The Florida Association of Professional Process Servers is an organization dedicated to promoting the process server industry. This association is interested in educating others about process servers, creating and maintaining ethical standards, and improving relationships between their industry and the legal profession. Many process servers are also private investigators and provide other services like skip tracing. Skip tracing is the process of locating missing persons, missing vehicles, or locating addresses or phone numbers.
