The American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) is a professional association representing about 5,000 law librarians. The association’s mission is to promote and enhance the value of law libraries to the public, the legal community, and the world; to foster the profession of law librarianship; and to provide leadership in the field of legal information. Law librarians are usually service-oriented and organized. They spend much of their day making decisions, researching, and examining new topics and issues.
