Professor of Philosophy

Socrates is considered one of the first Western philosophers. He believed philosophy was necessary for all intelligent men. Socrates became convinced that his calling was to search for wisdom so that reason could guide the intellectual and moral improvement of the Athenians. He spent his time discussing virtue, justice, and piety wherever his colleagues gathered. Many law school professors use the Socratic method of teaching in their own classroom environment.
