A well-nourished body can recover more quickly from illness. It is important to eat foods that do not interact with medicines, and consume enough fluids and nutrient-dense calories. Many chronic health problems can be improved or managed by making dietary changes. Eating disorders are health challenges marked by extreme emotions and behaviors related to food. They can be prevented through education and counseling.
