Chapter 38: Sandwiches & Pizza

Chapter Summary

A sandwich is filling between slices of bread. It is as nutritious as the foods that go into it. Sandwiches can be basic, or come in many other forms, including club sandwiches, open-face sandwiches, heroes, and wraps. There are also hot sandwiches, which may have cooked fillings, or be grilled or broiled. Small, cold tea sandwiches are yet another form. All sandwiches can be prepared using a variety of ingredients. Pizza is a type of oversized, baked sandwich. It consists of fillings on a shell or crust. Many creative toppings are delicious on pizza. A calzone is a double-crust, semicircular pizza.
