eMarketing Feature

Internet Employment Agencies (Online Job Searching)
Internet employment agencies are online companies that help applicants and employers find each other. Monster.com® and Career Builder.com™ are examples of Internet Employment Agencies. You can find a wealth of information about job hunting from these sites. For example, at Monster you can search for a job by state, industry, category, posting date, career level, experience level, education level, and job type. The site also offer advice on résumé writing, job hunting strategies, interviewing, salary and benefits, as well as career development.

Innovate and Create
Have students search the Internet for Internet employment agencies and make a list of the sites they found. Ask them to select the one they would use if they were looking for a job right now and to provide rationale for their selection.
