Digital Video Sharing
YouTube®, a subsidiary of Google®, is a free digital video sharing community. YouTube videos can be seen worldwide. Viewers can watch and comment on videos; as well as provide their own videos to share with the YouTube community. Businesses can share their messages with the global marketplace in a video format, making YouTube an excellent marketing tool. InVideo ads or YouTube video ads can be used. Or marketers can sponsor contests to connect with target markets. For example, Visa® ran a campaign on the YouTube Channel for soccer fans. During the FIFA World Cup, soccer fans were able to share their support for their favorite teams by viewing, uploading, and sharing videos of goal calls. They also held a tournament titled, "Visa Watch Your Way To Brazil" sweepstakes with the prize being a trip to the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. To keep everyone involved, weekly prizes were added, such as $100 Visa gift cards.

Innovate and Create
Disney® created a new store prototype with lots of interactive features. It has touch screen kiosks so customers can view the store and products in 3D. They also can see video clips, articles, and social media feeds, which can be shared with friends by using their mobile phones to connect via e-mail, Twitter® and Facebook®. After telling students about Disney's new prototype stores, have them brainstorm ideas for Disney to utilize YouTube as a means to promote its new prototype stores.
